The Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation is proud to announce that two family members of late Line of Duty Boston Police Officer James B. O’Leary (EOW 08-02-1963) were very active in supporting a fundraiser in memory of their Dad, Grandfather and Uncle by taking part in the running of the 123rd Boston Marathon.
Over $25,000 was raised in memory of Officer James B. O’Leary and all Massachusetts police officers killed in the line of duty. These funds will ensure that the MLEMF is appropriately maintained
They hope to work with Mayor Walsh’s office again next year to secure two numbers for another surviving family to run in memory of their fallen family member to raise funds.
The Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation thanks the O’Leary family for all the work they did to accomplish this feat!
