Law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in Massachusetts

Officer Daniel A. McCallum Age: 40 years old Tour: 15 years Boston Police End of Watch: Sunday, May 12, 1935
Patrolman McCallum was killed in a motorcycle accident while escorting Governor Curley's motorcade. He swerved to avoid striking a car on a winding road and instead struck a tree.

Patrolman McCallum had been with the agency for 15 years and was survived by his brother, also a member of the agency.
