Law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in Massachusetts

Trooper Charles F. McGonagle Age: 36 years old Tour: 3 years State Police End of Watch: Tuesday, August 2, 1932
Patrolman Charles McGonagle was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on the wet surface of South Main Street in the town of East Longmeadow.

Patrolman McGonagle was a U.S. Army veteran of WWI and had served with the Massachusetts State Police for three years. He was survived by his wife.
