Law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in Massachusetts

Officer Kenneth B. Bell Age: 40 years old Tour: 8 years Fitchburg Police End of Watch: Thursday, October 18, 1962
Patrolman Bell was killed in a motorcycle accident while providing a motorcycle escort for a United States senator. A vehicle pulled into the path of Patrolman Bell's three-wheeled motorcycle on Water Street, causing him to suffer fatal injuries.

Patrolman Bell had served with the Fitchburg Police Department for almost 8 years. He was survived by his wife and three sons.
